Production Associate 2 (Saw Operators/ Welder)

Job Title: Production Associate 2

Job Details

Base Pay: $17.75 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate welders and saws.
• Assemble and process large patio doors.
• Fabricate and produce component parts for window assembly.
• Perform physically demanding, fast-paced, and repetitive tasks, including heavy lifting and manual work.
• Use hand tools for constructing window units.
• Lift glass onto build tables and roller racks.
• Move carts within the production area.
• Load and process insulated glass units and assemble vinyl grids.
• Offload insulated glass units and utilize production reports for planning.
• Ensure quality through audits and problem-solving activities.

Qualifications:

• Ability to measure accurately to 1/32”.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly above shoulder height and below waist.
• Basic math skills for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing, including converting fractions to decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret statistical data, reports, and instructions.
• Proficiency with computerized equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
