Qualifications

• Must pass an aptitude test covering basic math, reading directions and diagrams.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and stand for long periods; overtime may be required.
• Able to read blueprints and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to use hand/power tools and measuring equipment (gages, calipers, indicators, scales, tape measures).
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing; comfortable using computers and label makers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and package components using hand and power tools.
• Set ups and operates various machines and equipment.
• Perform quality checks and complete documentation (scrap sheets, logs, data) and first/last piece inspections.
• Rotate through production positions and participate in continuous improvement (6S).
• Wear appropriate PPE and maintain a clean, safe work environment; attend overtime as needed.
