Job Summary

The Production Associate works with garments, other cloth materials, and operates embroidery machines, including single and multi-head embroidery machines.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Operate single and multi-head embroidery machines daily.
2. Stage, hoop, and load products onto embroidery machines.
3. Read and understand embroidery instructions to determine item type, location, and thread colors of designs.
4. Process garments, including cutting away backing and extra threading, steaming, and moving garments between work stations.
5. Inspect completed work for defects and quality issues.
6. Prepare garments for quality inspection and folding.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, including lint control and vacuuming.
8. Work across various work stations on the production floor as needed.
9. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets for quality, productivity, downtime, and lead time.
10. Communicate with the Embroidery Supervisor to reorder materials and supplies.
11. Collaborate and share information with team members.

Minimum Job Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Basic computer skills.
3. Needle threading skills; sewing or alterations experience is a plus.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Ability to work effectively within a team.

The salary range for this position is $16.25 - $22.00 per hour, depending on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. The actual salary will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
