JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $16.00 per hour

Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm Monday through Friday (Saturdays based on business need)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive environment, which includes heavy lifting and manual tasks. This role may involve tasks across various departments.

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick, and pack products.
• Support and participate in employee engagement activities.
• Follow defined clean-up times and work safely according to policies.
• Work at an established rate based on customer demand and standardized procedures.
• Contribute to defining and improving standard work processes to enhance product quality.
• Identify and communicate problems or issues.
• Assist with training co-workers.
• Support a respectful workplace environment.
• Perform additional duties across the plant as directed by supervision or management.

Qualifications

• Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to read a tape measure; reading/writing in English preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds above shoulder height and below waist.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Flexibility to work various positions and departments (cross-training).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and stand for long periods.
• Compliance with all safety and company policies.
• Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and initiative skills.
