Job summary

Horizons HR Services Inc. is seeking Fabrication General Laborers for 1st and 2nd shifts with weekly pay. This is a permanent, non-temporary position offering room for career growth.

Starting pay ranges from $18.00–$23.00 per hour depending on experience, with 7am–3pm shifts and full medical, dental, vision, 401K, and disability insurance benefits. The role involves cross-training in PEM operation, deburring, and breakout tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of painting preparation, touch-up, part mark, spray paint, silk-screen, or related experience.
• Ability to use handheld power tools, paint equipment, and bulky parts and assemblies.
• Training in machine safety and quality awareness preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trained in PEM operator, deburring, and breakout operations.
• Read blueprints and position hardware, operate PEM machine, and assist in cabinet kits.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work with co-workers in sorting, organizing, and counting parts.

Job Description: Fabrication Laborers

• Will be cross trained in any of the following areas but initially needed for the breakout position.
  • PEM Operator: This person must be able to read blueprints, position the placement of the hardware, press the pedal of the PEM machine, lift to 50 lbs. and work with co-workers in kitting of cabinets.
  • Debur: Use hand tools such as dyna-file, belt sanders, and cordless drills to smooth edges and tabs of various sheet metal.
  • Break out: This person must be able to lift 50 lbs. by themselves and is able to swing a mallet for long periods of time, and sort, organize and count parts.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
