Job summary

Strobel Fabrication in Northern Kentucky is seeking a General Laborer to support daily fabrication shop operations, including painting, material handling, cleaning, and general production support.

You will be moderately skilled in painting, preparing surfaces, and applying finishes with attention to quality and detail, and you will work outdoors/in varying conditions as required with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.
• Demonstrated painting experience and ability to produce quality finishes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general physical tasks such as painting, cleaning, lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials or equipment.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paint and coatings with quality workmanship.
• Assist skilled workers as needed while following instructions and safety guidelines.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report hazards.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and storage processes.
• Help with setup and breakdown of work areas or temporary structures.
• Follow company and regulatory safety procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
