POSITION TITLE:
Production Associate

*MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH*

POSITION SUMMARY:
Production Line Associatesfor our manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will be dependable and reliable with previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or construction and have mechanical aptitude.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Level I
  • Line assistant
  • Pack goods to be shipped.
  • Keep the packaging line unloaded to facilitate continuous packing.
  • Keep the area stocked with cardboard for packing of sections.
  • Unloading of parts and staging them in the staging area.
  • Assist Production Associate 2 with scanning and packaging.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Level II
  • Performs all level I duties
  • Reads production paperwork and performs work as assigned, must scan and organize sections per work schedule and scan each label for inventory control.
  • Needs to know the colors and attach labels accordingly.
  • Assembles products with hands, air tools, and/or hand tools to produce sections.
  • Installs insulation and/or double-end styles per production schedule.
  • Recognizes different section sizes and assembles end stiles as per customer request and schedule.
  • Assist at the marriage station when production starts with other section sizes.
  • Assure correct label was placed on the product and offloads from conveyor to dollies for shipping department for staging.
  • Keep the packaging line unloaded to facilitate continuous packing.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • Ability to perform all requirements at a fast rate of speed in order to keep up with the production line needs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Level III
  • Performs all level I and II duties.
  • Reads and places all appropriate labels to sections are built per schedule.
  • Monitor the production process and help when needed at all stations, cross-trained in all areas of production.
  • Measures and cuts for insertion of windows when ordered by a customer.
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
  • Maintain and clean the work area.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Required
    • Fluent in Spanish
    • Ability to use industrial equipment, carts, pallets, and all other equipment related to loading/shipment of garage doors, hardware, and other assemblies.
    • Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
  • Preferred
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Forklift license preferred.
