Job summary

Monroechamber in Mosinee, WI is hiring a Production Associate to join our family-owned cheese production team, emphasizing quality, teamwork, and pride in craftsmanship. You will monitor production machinery and assist with CIP procedures and bagging operations.

Shifts are 1st/2nd rotating, 8:00am–4:00pm or 2:00pm–10:00pm. Requirements: High School Diploma and 1–2 years manufacturing experience; ability to stand 8–10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in warm conditions; overtime on Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Assist others to maintain safety and quality.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Maintain clean workspace.
• Operate within HACCP guidelines for safe, quality product.
• Set up and operate bagging machine to bag and seal cheese blocks.

Position Title: Production Associate
Wage: $20.50/hour
Shift: 1st / 2nd (Rotating)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm or 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Production Associate Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control production machinery
• Monitor and use "Clean in Place" procedures on product machinery and tools
• Scoop and shovel cheese curds in large bins
• Take samples of product for lab testing
• Maintain appropriate production records
• Fill out proper documentation in accordance to customer specification and government agencies
• Aid other employees to maintain a safe process and quality product
• Follow safety procedures
• Maintain clean work environment
• Operate within HACCP guidelines to ensure safe, quality product
• Operate and set up bagging machine to bag and seal blocks of cheese

Requirements for Production Associate:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience of 1-2 years in a manufacturing position
• Ability to stand the entire shift 8-10 hours a day
• Exposure to toxic, caustic chemicals (anhydrous ammonia), acid wash
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs rarely from the ground and 20lbs occasionally
• Ability to work in warm/hot environment
• Excellent attendance record and team focus
• Quality focused
• Ability to work overtime as needed on Saturdays
