Job Summary

Georgia‑Pacific is looking for safety‑oriented individuals to join our team as a Production Associate in our climate‑controlled facility in Tolleson, AZ.

Salary and Compensation

Base pay: $21.65 per hour. Shift differential of $1.00 per hour for hours between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am. Eligible for a Performance Pay program that could offer up to a 6% quarterly bonus. Compensation may increase based on skills and contribution.

Shift Schedule
  • 5‑2‑2‑5 schedule (rotating 12‑hour shifts).
  • Shifts run 6:45 am–7:00 pm and 6:45 pm–7:00 am.
  • Rotation between days and nights occurs every two weeks.
  • Only candidates able to work this schedule will be considered.
  • The facility uses a point‑based attendance program.
Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment to meet defined standards and product specification targets.
  • Monitor and enter data into computer control systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of the work area.
  • Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
  • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment, or completion of post‑high‑school education in manufacturing/industrial fields.
  • Must be able to work rotating 12‑hour shifts on a 5‑2‑2‑5 schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device.
  • At least one year of experience in manufacturing and/or industrial environments.
  • Experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
Physical Requirements
  • Strict adherence to safety rules and wearing required safety equipment.
  • Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud/noisy, industrial, high‑volume environment.
