Job summary

Fairfield Processing Corporation is seeking a Production Associate to support the fiber processing facility's operations. You will report to the Production department and handle diverse tasks in manufacturing and processing, gaining hands-on experience in a growing industry.

Two common shifts are offered with potential third shift as needed. Flexibility in scheduling and strict adherence to safety rules are required, with PPE provided and safety policies enforced.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production; familiarity with machinery operation and manual labor.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to perform various production tasks in a fiber processing facility.
  • Move materials and operate machines, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
  • Follow assembly instructions and defect guidelines provided by management.
  • Identify problems with materials or processes and report to supervisors.
  • Wear PPE and adhere to safety policies; cooperate with other departments to complete tasks.
  • Perform duties in a warehouse setting with exposure to loud machinery.

As aProduction Associate, you will support the production operations of our fiber processing facility. Reporting directly to the Production department, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the manufacturing and processing of fiber materials. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and growing industry.

Schedule:

  • Shift 1: Day Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Shift 2: Evening Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Shift 3: Night Shift (8 hours) - Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
  • Shift 1: Day Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
  • Shift 2: Evening Shift (8 hours) - Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

*While we primarily operate on two shifts, shift times are subject to change based on business needs, including the potential addition of a third shift as needed. Flexibility in scheduling is required to support operational demands.

Pay Range:DOE

  • Work with the team to do different tasks, like moving materials and using machines.
  • Make sure work areas are neat and safe by cleaning up regularly.
  • Move materials carefully to avoid damage and keep quality high.
  • Learn to operate machines and follow safety rules when using them.
  • Learn Assembly Work Instructions and Common defect guidelines provided by management and follow them.
  • Keep an eye out for any problems with materials and processes and tell supervisors about them.
  • Follow safety rules and wear the proper PPE to keep yourself and others safe.
  • Work well with your team and other departments to get the job done.
  • This position is performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to loud machinery.
  • Hearing protection and other PPE must be worn in accordance with company safety policies.
  • The environment may involve exposure to temperature fluctuations and moving mechanical parts.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production, with familiarity in both machinery operation and manual labor.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
