Job summary

Fairfield Processing Corporation is seeking a Production Lead to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure quality, and manage a team on a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and effective communication with management.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that products and goods manufactured / processed meet quality standards obtainable in the industry.
  • Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety functionality.
  • Check finished products to ensure quality and customer specifications are met before they are ready for shipment.
  • Keep records or worker’s performance.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Create work schedule for workers and ensure that they adhere to it; take attendance to ensure regularity and promptness of workers to the assignment.
  • Work as a liaison between employees and management to encourage effective communication.
  • Develop production schedule for the execution of projects in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that work materials are present when needed.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Set clear team goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day operation.
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
  • Motivate team members to enhance production while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching.
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.

Additional Duties:

Hours of work are subject to change according to operational needs; overtime may be required as well depending on the needs of the operation.

Education and Experience:

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Production or other manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Performance Driven Skills.

Wage:$16/hr.
