Job summary

Staffmark in Spring Hill, TN is hiring a Production Associate at $19.10 per hour. Schedule is Monday-Friday from 4pm to 4am with mandatory overtime. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Associate, is responsible for, but not limited to, performing all required assembly operations in the line rotation at line speed while producing good quality parts to meet and or exceed all SHSS and customer requirements. Also performs all required repairs to components and seats.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required (Grade 12 completion minimum).
  • Postsecondary education or technical training preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience, including at least 1 year in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or automotive environment.
  • Experience working on fast-paced production lines while meeting quality and productivity standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and dependable work ethic.
  • Willingness to work overtime and extended shifts as required.
Physical Capabilities
  • Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods during a 12-hour production shift.
  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks at line speed.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and manual handling of parts and components.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
Job Duties
  • Assemble foam, seat, and seating components according to production standards and customer specifications.
  • Perform assembly operations within designated cycle times while maintaining quality requirements.
  • Inspect, repair, and rework components as needed to ensure product quality.
  • Follow all safety procedures, plant policies, and quality standards.
  • Operate equipment safely and follow standard operating instructions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S and housekeeping practices.
  • Identify and report safety concerns, defects, and production issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
  • Contribute to meeting daily production goals while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
