Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is hiring Production Associates at the Corrugated facility in Sheboygan, WI. You will be responsible for operating equipment, monitoring control systems, and troubleshooting to optimize production.

The role requires flexibility to work multiple shifts, overtime, and Saturdays as needed, with starting pay of $22 per hour plus a $3 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The position is based at 1927 Erie Ave, Sheboygan, WI 53081.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse or military environment is preferred.
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specifications.
• Monitor and/or input data into control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to improve production.
• Perform basic asset care, maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to meet production, waste, quality and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Perform tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods in a loud industrial environment.

Shift

Not guaranteed, so you must be flexible and available to work all shifts, overtime, and Saturdays as needed.

Salary

Starting at $22 per hour with a $3 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift

Shift Hours

• 1st shift: 6 AM - 2 PM
• 2nd shift: 2 PM - 10 PM
• 3rd shift: 10 PM - 6 AM (starts Sunday night)

What You Will Do

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse OR military environment OR completion of post-high school education in manufacturing/industrial
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
