Job summary

Bunge in Sandston, Virginia is looking for a Production Associate to produce quality product according to the production schedule while operating equipment safely. You will participate in Bunge’s safety program and help maintain a clean, organized work area.

Shifts are 1st, 2nd and 3rd with overtime as needed; starting pay is $15 per hour and an annual incentive bonus is possible. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing all shift, with basic communication skills and

Responsibilities

• Operate all machinery for each line assigned.
• Stack lines, hand-pack lines, palletize boxes, fork cups, or other tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
• Safely perform duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the assigned areas.
• Assist in maintaining product quality for the area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Production Supervisors or Production Manager.

A Day in the Life:

Production Associate is responsible for producing quality product per production schedule with working knowledge of production equipment and operating safely within established guidelines. Candidate must actively participate in Bunge’s Employee Safety Policy and maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees.

Position Details:

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts: 1st Shift: (6:30a-3:00p), 2nd Shift: (2:30p-11p) and 3rd Shift: (10:30p-7:00a) with occasional overtime as needed. Starting pay is $15 per hour. This role is eligible to receive an annual incentive bonus.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safety Operate all machinery for each line to which they are assigned.
• May be called upon to stack lines, hand-pack lines, palletize boxes, fork cups, or any other tasks deemed necessary by the Shift Supervisor.
• Safely perform duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the areas assigned.
• Assist in maintaining the quality of the product for the assigned area.
• Other duties as assigned by Production Supervisors or Production Manager.

Training Requirements:

Food Safety, Food Security, Safety, HACCP as assigned to the area, and Pallet Jack Training.
