Job summary

Hartung Glass in Washington is seeking Production Associates to support multiple manufacturing departments. You will read tags, inspect glass, load and unload, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring products meet quality and sizing standards.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability. We offer swing and graveyard shifts with a $1.50 per hour differential and base pay of $21.65–$22.65 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused and reliable; able to follow production schedules.
• Attendance and teamwork are crucial; strong work ethic.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch or learn.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen (excluding marijuana).
• Able to lift 50–75 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read tags to ensure correct manufacturing.
• Inspect glass at all stages for defects and sizing.
• Load/unload glass from machines; operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Organize final product on racks and prepare for shipping.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with packaging.
• Maintain safety and follow production schedules.

What You'll Do

Our Production Associates work in a wide range of departments, assisting with the manufacturing of glass. This could include:

• Reading tags to ensure products are being manufactured correctly.
• Inspecting glass at all stages of the production process to check for manufacturing defects, damage, and proper sizing.
• Loading/unloading glass from various machines.
• Operating equipment and machines such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Organizing the final product on racks based on delivery routes.
• Racking/crating the final product, ensuring that the product is safe and secure for shipping.
• Loading/unloading delivery trucks.

Available Shift

Swing and Graveyard Positions open, $1.50 shift differential on top of base pay

• Swing Shift- 330pm-0200am Monday- Thursday Base Pay- $21.65-$22.65/hr depending on experience.
• Graveyard Shift- 330pm-0200am Sunday- Wednesday Base Pay- $21.65-$22.65/hr depending on experience.
• Graveyard Shift- 1100pm-0730am Sunday- Thursday Base Pay- $21.65-$22.65/hr depending on experience.

No experience? No problem—we'll train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
