Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Production Associate in Raleigh to join our manufacturing team. You will contribute to safe, efficient production on rotating 12-hour schedules and support continual operations across the shift handoffs.

Eligible candidates should have warehousing or manufacturing experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read measurements, and operate basic computer tasks. Career growth is emphasized with internal promotions and wage increases.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant warehousing/manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to read measurements.
• Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follows directives of the Supervisor, Operators, and Department Manager.
• Sets up, troubleshoots, and runs production processes as instructed.
• Learns profiles and specs focusing on quality standards and rate.
• Prepares materials for next shift and communicates with next shift technicians.
• Keeps production reports accurate and legible.
• Identifies problems and reports them to supervision/maintenance.
• Keeps work area clean per Housekeeping Policy.

Job Description

Production Associate|Raleigh| HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Six months of relevant warehousing/manufacturing experience required

Incentives:

• Pay: Starting $21.47 an hour

Available Shift:

• Rotating 12 hour shift 7am-7pm/7pm-7am

  Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts on a Dupont schedule

• Includes 7 consecutive days off every month!

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Follows all directives of the Supervisor, Operators, and Department Manager in a respectful and responsible manner.
• Takes instruction from assigned trainers as to the setup, troubleshooting, and successful running of each aspect of the production ine and process.
• Learns all profiles with regard to specifications with focus on quality standards and rate.
• Leaves next shift of set up with whatever materials they will need to begin their shift.
• Communicates with next shift Technicians exchanging any pertinent information.
• Leans to keep accurate and legible production reports.
• Learns to identify problems and reporting them to supervision and maintenance.
• Keeps work area neat and clean in accordance with Housekeeping Policy.
• High school diploma or its equivalent

• Possess a mechanical aptitude
• Have basic computer knowledge
• Able to read/measure w/tape ruler
• Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment (with training)
• Ability to certify as a Technician and continuously improve on personal growth/advancement through our certification process

Preferred:

• At least two years of experience in a production workspace
• Well-organized and history of showing initiative
• Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations
