Job description

International Gamco (9335 N. 48th St., Omaha, NE)

Learn New Skills. Work With Your Hands. Grow With Our Team.

Looking for a steady, hands-on job where you can stay active, develop new skills and be part of a team that keeps production moving?

We're looking for dependable, motivated Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. Whether you're just getting started or already have experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, assembly or material handling, this could be a great opportunity to build on your skills.

This is a full-time, permanent position in a manufacturing environment that produces charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab (break-open) tickets, bingo paper and other gaming products.

As a Production Associate, you won't be limited to one task or work area. You'll have the opportunity to cross-train across multiple areas of production, finishing, packaging and material handling while learning different equipment, processes and responsibilities.

Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. We're willing to train individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented and eager to learn.

What You'll Do

As a Production Associate, you'll support various stages of the manufacturing and finishing process, helping transform raw and printed materials into finished products that are inspected, packaged and prepared for shipment.

You'll work alongside Machine Operators, Leads, Supervisors and other team members while learning a variety of hands-on, manual and machine-assisted production responsibilities.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform a variety of production and finishing tasks, including collating, cutting, folding, sorting, labeling, inspecting, packaging, shrink-wrapping and palletizing products.
  • Operate and assist with production, packaging and finishing equipment by loading, feeding, aligning and removing materials while monitoring product flow and supporting Machine Operators.
  • Load, unload, move, stage and organize raw materials, work-in-process inventory and finished products to maintain efficient production operations.
  • Inspect products for quality, accuracy, proper sequencing, serial numbers, quantities, labeling and compliance with production specifications.
  • Assemble cartons, prepare packaging materials, label and package finished products and prepare completed orders for storage or shipment.
  • Support shipping, receiving, inventory control and material tracking, including operating pallet jacks, scanners and other material-handling equipment.
  • Complete basic computer data entry, production records and inventory documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Crosstrain across production, finishing, packaging and material-handling functions while working with team members to meet production schedules, quality standards and operational goals.
  • Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas, follow established procedures and identify opportunities to improve quality, safety and productivity.
  • Other duties as required.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, adaptable and willing to learn. The ideal candidate enjoys staying active, takes pride in producing quality work and is comfortable taking on different responsibilities throughout the workday.

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience preferred. Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, inventory, assembly or material-handling experience is helpful but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn production equipment, manufacturing processes, basic troubleshooting and material-handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently, inspect products accurately and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math, counting, computer and data-entry skills, including the ability to read specifications, verify quantities and maintain accurate production records.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, established procedures and workplace safety requirements.
  • Dependable attendance, a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Flexibility to cross-train, perform repetitive hands-on tasks, work across multiple production areas and accommodate changing schedules or overtime as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk and remain physically active throughout the shift, including lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility as required by federal law.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Ensuring the safety of our employees and compliance with industry regulations is our top priority.
