Job summary

International Gamco in Omaha, NE is seeking dependable General Production Associates to join the Finishing team. The role involves turning printed materials into finished charitable and lottery gaming products, with cross-training across multiple production areas.

You will work alongside Machine Operators, Leads and Supervisors, performing manual and machine-assisted duties while maintaining quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to learn and work in multiple areas of the Finishing Department.
• Basic math skills with the ability to accurately read numbers, counts and measurements.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established production procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple production areas with collating, cutting, folding, labeling, inspecting, packaging, shrink-wrapping and palletizing finished products.
• Move, stage and organize raw materials, production skids and finished goods to keep materials flowing between work areas.
• Load, feed, remove, jog and align printed materials while assisting with equipment such as collators, cutters, folders and other finishing machinery.
• Assist Machine Operators by preparing and staging materials, monitoring product flow and helping keep production running efficiently.
• Inspect product throughout the production process, checking print quality, serial numbers, quantities, sequence and other specifications to prevent errors.
• Hand collate and organize printed materials while maintaining the correct sequence and accuracy.
• Print and apply product, deal and carton labels according to job specifications.
• Assemble cartons and package pull-tab tickets, bingo paper and other finished products according to customer requirements.
• Shrink-wrap, seal and prepare completed products for final packaging, storage and shipment.

We're looking for dependable General Production Associates to join our Finishing team. Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. We're looking for people who show up, work hard, pay attention to the details and are willing to learn.

This is more than standing in one place doing one task. You'll be trained to work across multiple production areas, helping turn printed materials into finished charitable and lottery gaming products that are inspected, packaged and prepared for shipment.

What You'll Do

As a General Production Associate, you'll support different stages of the finishing process based on daily production needs. You'll work alongside Machine Operators, Leads and Supervisors while learning a variety of manual and machine-assisted production responsibilities.

Additional Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Support multiple production areas with collating, cutting, folding, labeling, inspecting, packaging, shrink-wrapping and palletizing finished products.
• Move, stage and organize raw materials, production skids and finished goods to keep materials flowing efficiently between work areas.
• Load, feed, remove, jog and align printed materials while assisting with equipment such as collators, cutters, folders and other finishing machinery.

• Hand collate and organize printed materials while maintaining the correct sequence and accuracy.
• Print and apply product, deal and carton labels according to job specifications.
• Assemble cartons and package pull-tab tickets, bingo paper and other finished products according to customer requirements.
• Shrink-wrap, seal and prepare completed products for final packaging, storage and shipment.
• Build master cartons and securely palletize finished products.
• Perform basic computer data entry and complete required production information accurately.
• Help maintain productivity and quality while working within established production deadlines.
• Keep workstations clean, organized and safe while following Company procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Other duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Previous manufacturing, production or warehouse experience is helpful, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and work in multiple areas of the Finishing Department.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly when checking product numbers, quantities, sequence and quality.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a production team.
• Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work and remaining active throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
