TSG - The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for Finishing/Bindery on 1st shift. We’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment, feed books, pack shipments, and help meet daily production goals.

Work is in a factory environment with safety procedures emphasized. This entry-level role offers long-term growth with on-the-job training and teamwork.

Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery (We’ll Train You!)

1st shift 6:30 AM - 3 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read sufficiently to identify various printed forms and count accurately.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

Physical & Work Environment:

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Walking: Must be able to walk with ease, as some operations require constant walking.
• Standing: Must be able to stand (almost all jobs operations require long hours) on a concrete floor, or wooden platform.
• Lifting: Must be able to lift various materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Twisting: Must be able to twist/rotate at the waist, up to 90 degrees, when loading or packing.
