TSG - The Sheridan Group is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery and will train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment. The 1st shift runs 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and you will join a team focused on timely production, quality checks, and safety. No prior experience required beyond a willingness to learn.

You will handle feeding, packing, and handling of materials, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and collaborating with teammates to meet daily goals.

• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read sufficiently to identify various printed forms and count accurately.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work well with a team.

Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery (We’ll Train You!)

What You’ll Do:

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.

Physical & Work Environment:

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Walking: Must be able to walk with ease, as some operations require constant walking.
• Standing: Must be able to stand (almost all jobs operations require long hours) on a concrete floor, or wooden platform.
• Lifting: Must be able to lift various materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Twisting: Must be able to twist/rotate at the waist, up to 90 degrees, when loading or packing.
