The Sheridan Group is hiring an entry-level Manufacturing Associate for the Finishing/Bindery line on the 1st shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM). You’ll be trained to operate high-speed bindery equipment while helping ensure quality and timely production.

In this hands-on role, you will feed books and signatures into machines, pack finished products, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. A reliable team player with basic reading and counting skills will thrive here.

Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery (We’ll Train You!)

What You’ll Do:

• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For:

Physical & Work Environment:

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Walking: Must be able to walk with ease, as some operations require constant walking.
• Standing: Must be able to stand (almost all jobs operations require long hours) on a concrete floor, or wooden platform.
• Lifting: Must be able to lift various materials weighing up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Twisting: Must be able to twist/rotate at the waist, up to 90 degrees, when loading or packing.
