Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Production Associate at the St. Joseph Distribution Center to operate automated lines, perform quality checks, and support battery packaging and finishing processes. You will follow machine instructions, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with customer specifications.

The role requires basic computer skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a hot environment. Teamwork, safety, and reliability are essential for success on the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable working in hot environments (up to 100°F).
• Basic computer, math, reading and writing skills.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated shipping and decorating line equipment.
• Perform process and quality checks to ensure product meets customer specifications.
• Retrieve and follow specifications from the computer terminal.
• Remove process vents, decorate batteries, and reapply finish vents.
• Polish terminals and test quality using equipment such as Bitrode or manual Hi-Rater.
• Palletize batteries per customer requirements using OPS procedures and equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance within scope of role.
• Rotate through line positions to maintain production flow and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production counts and documentation.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; support regular housekeeping and 5S.
