Job summary

Amcor is seeking team members for a production-focused role. You will inspect film and bags for color variation, width and defects, perform quality checks, and pack items according to workorder specifications.

This position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working 12-hour shifts, and reliable attendance. You will operate in a fast-paced team setting, read and follow packaging instructions, and clearly communicate findings to teammates.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts.
  • Attendance and punctuality are crucial aspects of this position.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting film and bags for color variation, width, length, seal strength and visual defects.
  • Complete accurate quality checks and required paperwork on a timely basis.
  • Packing film and bags in cartons, according to workorder specifications.
  • Verify weights and counts of product, while maintaining correct carton and skid counts.
  • Weigh and manage scrap.
  • Responsible for maintaining work station in a clean well-organized manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.
