Job summary

Atlas Signs LLC, established in 2006, is a father‑n‑son business in San Fernando, CA that designs, manufactures, and installs interior and exterior signage. We are expanding the team and seek an accountable, organized, and detail‑oriented individual who can work well in a collaborative shop.

You will assist in production of channel letters and signs, install LED components, run CNC routers, Latex printers, and vinyl plotters, apply graphics, and help coordinate with the front office to manage

• Proficiency with power tools.
• Basic knowledge of machinery.
• Familiarity with the principles of vector data and G-code.
• Proficiency in Sign Lab (training available).
• Strong reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of signage: Channel letter, box signs, undercut etc.
• Install internal components such as LED lighting, wiring, and power supplies for illuminated signs.
• Run & Operate CNC router machine to cut various materials.
• Run & Operate HP Latex printers to print on various substrates.
• Run & Operate Vinyl Plotter to di-cut and weed vinyl decals.
• Applying vinyl graphics onto sign surfaces.
• Communicate with front office to ensure manufacturing scope.
• Assist in the maintenance of fabrication equipment.
• Using project management software to update project progression.
• Other duties for the warehouse may apply*

Atlas Signs LLC was established in 2006, and is a father-n-son company, specializing in the manufacturing and installation of interior and exterior business signage. Work in a professional and fast-paced sign fabrication business in San Fernando, CA. We have recently moved to a new facility and are expanding our team.

We are looking for a candidate who is accountable, organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and self-sufficient. You need to have strong communication and critical thinking skills and be able to work well in a collaborative team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production of signage: Channel letter, box signs, undercut etc.
• Install internal components such as LED lighting, wiring, and power supplies for illuminated signs.
• Run & Operate CNC router machine to cut various materials.
• Run & Operate HP Latex printers to print on various substrates.
• Run & Operate Vinyl Plotter to di-cut and weed vinyl decals.
• Applying vinyl graphics onto sign surfaces.
• Communicate with front office to ensure manufacturing scope.
• Assist in the maintenance of fabrication equipment.
• Using project management software to update project progression.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Proficiency with power tools.
• Basic knowledge of machinery
• Familiarity with the principles of vector data and G-code
• Proficiency in handling different file formatsProficiency in Sign Lab (training available)
• Strong reading and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Arabic speaking, not required but a plus
• Graphic design experience

Compensation and Work Hours:

• Starting at $20-22/hour
• Full time: M-F 9am-5pm

This job is for those who love crafting and building, and DIY'ers. We use CNC machines, 3D printers, Latex printers, and other tools to make craft and build LED illuminated letters and logos. While we offer a lot of training, a base knowledge of using programs to run machines and an understanding of power tools and different materials to build things is key as these skills will be heavily used in the craft.
