Job summary

Atlas Signs LLC in San Fernando, CA is seeking a dependable Sign Production & Fabrication Associate to join our production team. This hands-on role focuses on building, assembling, and troubleshooting signs, using CNC equipment, channel-letter machinery, large-format printers, and vinyl equipment.

You will read work orders, follow fabrication specs, install low‑voltage LED modules, operate routers and printers, and help with routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience using power tools and reading production drawings.
• Mechanically inclined with aptitude to learn CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, and safety procedures.
• Attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with vector data concepts and basic G-code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist fabrication and assembly of channel letters, sign cabinets, and dimensional letters.
• Install low‑voltage LED modules, wiring, and power supplies in illuminated signs.
• Operate CNC router to cut various materials.
• Operate HP Latex printers to print on different substrates.
• Operate Vinyl Plotter to cut and weed vinyl decals.
• Read and follow work orders, measurements, and fabrication drawings; update project progress in software.
• Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance of production equipment and work areas.

Full-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Atlas Signs LLC is a family-owned and operated sign manufacturing and installation company established in 2006. We specialize in manufacturing custom interior and exterior signage for businesses throughout California. Work in a professional and fast-paced sign fabrication business in San Fernando, CA.

We recently moved into a new facility in San Fernando and are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Sign Production & Fabrication Associate Member to join our production team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys building, making, troubleshooting, and learning how things work. Our shop uses CNC equipment, channel-letter machinery, large-format printers, vinyl equipment, fabrication tools, and LED lighting systems to manufacture custom signs, letters, logos, and displays.

Sign-industry experience is a plus, but we are also interested in applicants from other hands‑on trades or fabrication backgrounds who have the right mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of channel letters, sign cabinets, dimensional letters, undercut signs, and other custom signage.
• Assemble and install low‑voltage LED modules, wiring, and power supplies within illuminated signs.
• Run & Operate CNC router machine to cut various materials.
• Run & Operate HP Latex printers to print on various substrates.
• Run & Operate Vinyl Plotter to di-cut and weed vinyl decals.
• Read and follow work orders, measurements, production drawings, and fabrication specifications.
• Applying vinyl graphics onto sign surfaces.
• Communicate with the front office and production team to verify job scope and specifications before manufacturing.
• Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance of production equipment and work areas.
• Using project management software to update project progression.
• Perform other reasonable shop and production duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Comfortable and experienced using power tools.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning machinery.
• Proficiency with computers ability to learn new software.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, production instructions, and safety procedures.
• Good problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Basic knowledge of machinery
• Able to work independently while also communicating and working effectively with a team.
• Familiarity with the principles of vector data and G‑code
• Willingness to learn new equipment, materials, and fabrication processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sign manufacturing or sign‑production experience.
• CNC router or CNC machinery experience.
• Large‑format printing or vinyl‑production experience
• Low‑voltage LED assembly or wiring experience
• SignLab, Adobe illustrator, or similar sign‑production/design software.
• Understanding of vector artwork, CNC/CAM files, or G‑code.
• Experience in fabrication or skilled trades such as automotive/body work, carpentry, machining, welding, cabinetry, engineering, upholstery, printing, or similar hands‑on work.
• Additional language skills, including Arabic, are a plus and may be helpful when communicating with members of our multilingual production team. Arabic is not required for this position.

Compensation and Work Hours:

• Pay Range: $20.00 - 22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Position: Full‑time, hourly/non‑exempt
