Staffmark is hiring a Production Associate in Lebanon, TN. You will set up and operate production machinery, inspect materials, feed processes, and monitor quality to support safe, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products to identify defects or quality concerns.
  • Feed materials into machines and monitor equipment performance throughout production.
  • Monitor sheet quality and ensure proper operation of machine feeding, folding, gluing, and output functions.
  • Stack, bundle, wrap, and prepare finished products for shipment or transfer.
  • Enter production data into computer systems and complete required production reports.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Assist with machine coverage when operators are unavailable.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Cross-train on additional equipment and support other production functions as needed.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production guidelines while completing assigned tasks.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements
  • Six months to one year of experience in a manufacturing, production, machine operating, or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience operating industrial machinery or production equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to identify product defects and maintain quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
  • Willingness to cross-train on multiple machines and production processes.
Physical Capabilities
  • Stand and walk for up to 90% of the work shift.
  • Frequently lift, carry, move, and position materials throughout the production process.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive tasks involving feeding materials, stacking finished products, bundling materials, and palletizing.
  • Use measuring tools and perform quality inspections with accuracy.
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining production and quality standards.
