QPS Employment Group currently has a Production Associate opening in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The role operates on the 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, with a wage of $20.00 per hour. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods, lift 25–30 pounds, and work in a cooler environment (35–40°F).

The position involves palletizing, handling product on conveyors, labeling, and assembling kits for packaging, with responsibilities spanning quality checks and downtime support as needed.

Position Title: Production Associate

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm

Production Associate position available at a company in Kenosha, WI.

Responsibilities

• Palletize product according to company/customer specifications and use pallet jack to transfer.
• Place product onto trays off the conveyor in a fast-paced motion.
• Prepare, cook, fry, weight, and decorate product according to company specifications.
• Print, collect, distribute and apply labels onto all the corresponding cases of the product being shipped.
• Identify any quality issues, safety related issues, as well as overall plant inefficiencies and report them to the appropriate Supervisor.
• Clear any blockage or interference off the conveyor as the product makes its way down the conveyor belt in order to prevent product buildup.
• Support co-workers in other operations in the event of any downtime to increase volume productivity.
• Maintain vigilance at all times during hours of operation to minimize any unexpected hazardous events.
• Assemble kits ready for usage of product to be placed in.
• Place finished product in to premade kits ready for taping.
• Run finished kits through the taping machine prior to palletizing them.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
• Ability to withstand working in a cooler environment consisting of refrigerated temperatures maintained at 35-40 degrees.

Requirements

• Repetitive bending and stooping.
• Repetitive pulling, gripping, reaching, and pushing from the midsection level.
• Repetitive bending and twisting from side to side from the midsection down to the ground level.
• Ability to stand in one place for prolonged periods of time with some occasional walking involved.
• Ability to lift and transport unfinished and finished products weighing up to 25-30 pounds.
