Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive customer orders from Planning; gather required information.
• Retrieve and adjust layout, and send to printer or screen printing department.
• Prepare materials for post-printing, including cutting, laminating, and finishing.
• Assist in packaging materials as needed.
• Verify manufacturing efficiency and quality; monitor scrap and downtime.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs as required.
• Maintain steady production rate and meet minimum targets.
• Comply with health and safety requirements; keep area tidy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Details: Job Location: MSI - Faulkner - Milwaukee, WI, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Production Associate performs daily production activities for the operation and preventive maintenance on equipment as needed. The Production Associate is also responsible for developing and implementing process improvement when necessary.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives customer order from Planning Department; gather all necessary information to complete order.
• Retrieves layout, adjust layout to appropriate size and send to printer or screen printing department.
• Upon completion of print order, accurately prepare materials for post printing. This may include cutting, laminating and cleaning the materials for finishing.
• Assists in packaging material.
• Verify manufacturing efficiency and quality (accuracy, scrap, utilization, rework, equipment downtime).
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
• Maintain production rate consistency; meet or exceed established minimum production rates.
• Comply with relevant occupational health and safety requirements.
• Keep the production area neat, clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

There is moderate risk of injury. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work on feet entire shift. Safety equipment is required to be worn when in production area. Work hours may vary between the standard production shift hours, especially when production demand is at high levels, with an average 40 hours a week. Consistent and regular attendance required. Compliance with relevant occupational health and safety requirements, company-specific safety requirements and jobsite safety requirements is always required.
