Role
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Production Associate is responsible for processing incoming donations and providing them to the retail sales floor. Our culture emphasizes trust, respect, professionalism, teamwork, and cooperation.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, grade, price, and rack donations to meet quality standards.
- Understand product types, promotions, and pricing standards to improve sales.
- Maintain a neat and organized work and store environment.
- Learn CommunityAid’s sales and marketing methods, including tagging system.
- Work flexibly across various production sections as needed, responding to supervisor directions.
- Assist with store opening, closing, and other tasks assigned by management.
- Report theft, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Follow all policies, standards, and directives of CommunityAid.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Warehouse or production experience helpful.
- Flexibility for evenings and weekends.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking.
- Consistent attendance and weekly hours as per employee status.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift 21-35 pounds.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Push/pull up to 20 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods.
