Job summary

Veritas Medical Solutions is seeking Production Associates to manufacture VeriShield blocks for cancer treatment centers and other facilities worldwide. The role runs 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM with overtime possible; requires lifting up to 50 lbs and dependable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Degree or equivalent, or experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • On-the-job training provided to perform duties.
  • Manufacturing production machinery experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to act professionally and remain calm in high stress situations.
  • Willingness to learn and operate any equipment required to perform job duties (training provided).
  • Forklift operator experience preferred, or willingness to be trained.
  • Front-end Loader experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks involving manual labor required for production of VeriShield blocks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of VeriShield Block Production.
  • Follow instructions and maintain accurate batch sizes and block weights.
  • Operate a forklift safely and be trained if not already certified.
  • Assist with pallet labeling and basic material handling in the factory and yard.
  • Work well with others in a team environment and help with daily production area clean-up.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain PPE usage at all times.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES – Job Summary

Production Associates manufacture and produce high-density shielding block (VeriShield) which is used to supply and build cancer treatment centers and non‑destructive testing facilities around the world. This is a production‑oriented environment which requires lifting up to 50 lbs. Forklift skills and mechanical aptitude a plus. Individuals need to be highly self‑motivated with a strong work ethic, interested in working in a team environment and committed to quality and safety. Must have dependable transportation with normal working hours from 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Overtime and weekend work may be required with Manager direction and approval. ACTIVITY – Production – Time Allocation: ~ 95%
  • Perform tasks involving manual labor required for production of VeriShield modules (block), which includes lifting items approximately 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of VeriShield Block Production.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to keep accurate records of batch sizes and block weights.
  • Experience operating a forklift safely, or willingness to be trained.
  • Experience operating a Front‑end Loader a plus.
  • Band, wrap and label pallets; experience operating a hand‑held steel banding machine a plus.
  • Able to use a wheelbarrow safely and move materials in the factory and yard.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Help with daily clean‑up of production area, including equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude a plus.
  • Dependable transportation and regular attendance required.
ACTIVITY – Team Veritas – Time Allocation: ~ 5%
  • Attend and participate in daily meetings.

  • Frequently required to talk, hear, utilize hand and finger dexterity, kneel or work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Must be able to lift and carry/move 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to push or pull wheelbarrow loads.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb or work on elevated surfaces as needed.
  • Occasionally may be exposed to moderate levels of noise.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
