Responsibilities

• Mechanical Assembly: Assemble structural components, brackets, straps, and shielding mechanisms according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and SOPs.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate pneumatic hand tools, torque wrenches, riveting equipment, and light automated machinery to secure restraint hardware.
• Quality Control: Conduct meticulous visual and dimensional inspections of finished restraints to check for defects, material discrepancies, or alignment issues before they advance to packaging.
• Component Tracking: Maintain accurate production logs, documenting completed units, material usage, and any component deviations from design specifications.
• Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to factory safety protocols, protective gear rules, and OSHA standards to maintain a clean, zero-incident working environment.

Spherion is looks for Production Associates for a seat belt manufacturer in Elkhart, IN! The Production Associate is responsible for the precise mechanical assembly, inspection, and packaging of safety restraints used in commercial, automotive, or industrial applications.

Shift Schedule

• 1st shift: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, OT possible on Fridays — Pay: $15/hr + $1/hr w/perfect attendance (paid weekly)
• 2nd shift: 3:30pm-2am Monday-Thursday OT possible on Fridays — Pay: $17/hr + $1/hr w/perfect attendance (paid weekly)

Working hours: Various Shifts Available
