Job summary

Hendrickson in Franklin, KY is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform hands-on product assembly, inspections, and basic maintenance on manufacturing equipment. You will follow production schedules, ensure quality, and support continuous improvement in a non-temperature-controlled facility.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of production assembly experience preferred, and be able to work overtime to meet production demands while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Interpret production schedules and build specifications.
• Work overtime as production demands require.
• Utilize torque wrenches according to specs.
• Pass drug and alcohol screening and remain drug free.
• Follow safety practices and policies.

Responsibilities

Job description

Use required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications. Understand associated parts and their relationship to the end product. Must be able to facilitate all aspects of the assembly process.

Essential Functions

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator.

Education and Training

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.

Physical Demands

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.
• Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.
• Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.

Environmental Conditions

• Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
• Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
