Job summary

Knights Companies Inc is seeking a Production Associate for our precast team to contribute to high-quality precast concrete projects. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork while performing form construction, concrete finishing, and related tasks.

You will read plans, assemble forms, tie rebar, pour concrete, and complete finishing work to exact specifications, all within a collaborative, safety-focused environment with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in the construction field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and plans.
• Working knowledge of construction-related math.
• Great organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and be a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans to accurately create forms with close tolerance to specifications, utilizing appropriate materials and tools.
• Safely and skillfully operate tools such as hammers, measuring tapes, and other equipment necessary for constructing precast products.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with safety standards.
• Identify the need for new tools, hardware, lumber, and other materials required to complete projects effectively.
• Assemble forms, cut and tie rebar, place castings into forms, pour concrete, and perform finishing work to meet project specifications.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion and team success.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production Associate to join our Precast team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with form construction, concrete finishing, and a strong commitment to safety and precision.

What You'll Do:

• Read and interpret plans to accurately create forms with close tolerance to specifications, utilizing appropriate materials and tools.

Requirements

• Minimum of one years’ experience in the construction field is preferred.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret shop drawings and plans.
• Working knowledge of construction-related math.
• Great organizational skills.
• Must have the willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to accept and follow directions as provided by supervisors and ask questions when needed.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to safely lift a minimum of 100 lbs. with assistive devices.
• Ability to work in extreme weather, including but not limited to high heat, low temperature, and high sun environments.
• Ability to operate tools required to complete construction projects.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and kneel as required to construct precast products.
• Ability to be on your feet 8 or more hours a day.
