Job summary

Atlas Molded Products, part of Atlas Roofing Corporation, is seeking Production Associates for the Arlington, TX facility. The shift runs from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include following shift directions, operating manufacturing equipment, inspecting and packing parts, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Prior manufacturing experience preferred; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Able to perform basic math and count.
• Capable of using basic hand-held measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Report to Manager at shift start for daily directions.
• Understand manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and procedures.
• Inspect and package parts per specification and record information on in-process sheets.
• Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble and label materials per production instructions.
• Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Know and operate Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
• Must be trained and familiar with general safety.

Atlas Molded Products is seeking Production Associates for the Arlington, TX facility. This shift will be from 11am - 7:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Production Associate Primary Responsibilities

• Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
• General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
• Bundles, wraps, stacks, packs, assemble and/or labels materials per specific production instructions.
• Operates side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
• Must be trained and familiar with general safety.

Production Associate Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred

Production Associate Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken, preferred.
• Must be able to use simple math, count and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

Production Associate Education, Licenses & Certifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Production Associate Additional Information

• Light to moderate physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and course manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level, and tolerant of temperature changes for the entire shift.
• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 pounds; and safely operate assigned machinery.
