Job summary

Atlas Molded Products in Reno, NV is seeking a reliable Production Associate to join our team on a night shift (10:30 pm–7:00 am). You will assist with operating manufacturing processes, inspecting and packaging parts, and maintaining a clean work area while following safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic math skills. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with opportunities for training and growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) preferred.
• Must be able to use simple math, count and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
• Operate manufacturing processes following safety and quality standards.
• Inspect and package parts according to specifications and record information.
• Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, label materials per production instructions.
• Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Familiarity with recycling EPS equipment is a plus.
• Attend training and obtain required sign-offs within 2 months of hire.
• Demonstrate regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a reliable Production Associate for the Reno/Stead, NV facility to join our team.

The schedule is Monday – Friday 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. Occasional overtime may be required.

Production Associate Primary Responsibilities:

• Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
• General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
• Bundles, wraps, stacks, packs, assemble and/or labels materials per specific production instructions.
• Operates side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
• Performs any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
• Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
• Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness.
• Must be verified by supervisor and be signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.
• Other duties as assigned

Production Associate Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken, preferred.

Production Associate Experience:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.

Production Associate Education, Licenses & Certifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Production Associate Additional Information:

• Moderate to heavy physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and course manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level, and tolerant of temperature changes for the entire shift.
