Job Title: Production Assistant/Machine Operator

Salary range for General Labor: starting at $23.66 / hour with increases following the completion of training

Schedule: must be available to work 12-hour NIGHT shifts with overtime as needed

Role Overview: Extrusion Operator

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our Warrenton facility as the Extrusion Operator:

• Lead and enforce safety processes and procedures
• Lead and enforce SQF [Safe Quality Food] processes and procedures
• Ensure machines are regularly checked and cleaned
• Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products, including:
• Extruder
• Pelletizer
• Feed system [hoppers, augers]
• Winders/pullers
• Inspect the extruded product for quality and consistency
• Utilize clamp trucks to stock the Thermoforming department & stage warehouse
• Perform other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, machinery, and operations is preferred

Strong experience with SAP and MES systems is highly desirable

Ability to make independent quality determinations

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Availability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed
