Job summary

CPG Agency, a leading experiential agency, seeks a Production Assistant to support Experience Producers in delivering meetings, events and engagement projects. The role involves planning, on-site support, and vendor coordination in a hybrid STL-based office environment.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of relevant experience in project teams, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed. This is a full-time position reporting to the VP, Agency Operations.

Responsibilities

• Produce components of larger projects under the direction of an Executive Producer.
• Manage schedules and budgets to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Handle multiple tasks across several projects concurrently.
• Collaborate with internal team members including producers, account directors, and designers.
• Research resources, seek innovative solutions, and assist in vendor procurement.
• Provide onsite production support, liaising with crew, vendors, venue, and clients.
• Take meeting notes and coordinate travel arrangements for the production team.

The Production Assistant supports the team of Experience Producers to deliver high‑quality business meetings, events, and engagement projects. A successful candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience working in project teams and managing tasks. This is a full‑time position within the Production Services team, reporting to the VP, Agency Operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Project Management
  • Produce individual components of larger projects under the direction of an Executive Producer.
  • Manage schedules and budgets to help the team deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Handle multiple tasks on multiple projects at the same time without letting anything slip.
  • Work collaboratively with internal team members including Executive Producers, Associate Producers, Account Directors, Graphic Designers, and others.
• Research
  • Investigate and vet resources to find innovative solutions to problems.
  • Seek out new ways to approach project deliverables.
  • Assist the Procurement Coordinator in finding vendors needed for a show/project.
• Onsite Support
  • Function as an integral part of the onsite production team by serving in various positions as needed; duties may include serving as backstage manager, talent wrangler, content producer, and breakouts manager among others.
  • Liaise with members of production crew, vendors, venue, and clients as required.
• Administrative
  • Keep project teams up-to-date on a continual basis regarding deliverables by taking meeting notes and participating in team meetings.
  • Manage the booking, coordination, and reconciliation of show travel for all members of the production team.

This is a full‑time position. Our downtown STL office operates on a hybrid schedule with three days in office and two days remote work.
