Nahan is seeking a Production Assistant in Minnesota to provide internal production support on the floor for finishing machines and related departments. You will gain hands-on experience, develop mechanical skills, and contribute to real projects in a collaborative environment.

• Help with documentation, product quality checks and organization of workspaces.
• Find & prepare tray tags.
• Complete tasks in a timeframe that aligns with production expectations.
• Support team members with various operational tasks.
• Support 6S initiatives as required.
• Follow all safety and quality standards.
• Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and team projects.
• Fill trays/boxes & stack on pallets
• Help with documentation, product quality checks and organization of workspaces.
• Find & prepare tray tags
• Complete tasks in a timeframe that aligns with production expectations.
• Support team members with various operational tasks.
• Support 6S initiatives as required.
• Follow all Nahan safety and quality standards.
• Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This job operates in both an Office and Manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses printing equipment and machines, as well as office equipment such as laptops, computers, etc.

The employee may be required to stand for long periods of time as well as use hands or fingers to reach or handle, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee will regularly lift 25lbs or more at a time. All vision abilities are required to encompass close-up work. Employees must be able to tolerate and endure extended seasonal hours and maintain alertness to meet deadlines.

Occasionally while performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including paper dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which may require the use of PPE. The employee may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, extended seasonal hours, high precarious places, and confined spaces. The nose level in some of the work environments may require the use of hearing protection.
