Shift: Days, 8 AM - 4 PM
Job Summary
A Maintenance II will perform maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance/repairs in and around the facility, including production equipment and support equipment such as inserters, cutters, folders, hydraulic lifts, forklifts, etc.
- Conduct repairs throughout the facility including plumbing, heating, electrical work using a voltage‑ohm meter (VOM), and wiring.
- Weld (electric, gas, brazing, etc.) when needed.
- Install, modify, fabricate and maintain equipment such as conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, fork trucks, pallet jacks, material handling equipment, all graphic art related equipment, and building HVAC equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness in and around the facility.
- Install all necessary equipment.
- Maintain security locks and systems.
- Work with operators and maintenance team to maximize machine uptime and productivity.
- Review maintenance requests, safety reports and estimate time/material required to complete tasks, and recommend/coordinate special projects.
- Handle hazardous waste safely following procedures.
- Respond to service calls, troubleshoot malfunctions, determine parts and repair procedures to return equipment to operating condition.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks.
- Continue education as required for the role, complete and pass electrical skills test.
- Follow all Nahan safety and quality standards.
- Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot advanced machine/equipment malfunctions.
- Attention to detail to identify quality defects.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical specifications.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, train and coach.
- Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency/fluent with English language, written and verbal.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of secondary education preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or related field.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
The job operates in a manufacturing facility with moderate to loud noise levels. Responsibilities include operating printing equipment and machines, standing for long periods, handling heavy loads (up to 70 lbs), and using PPE as required. The role may involve exposure to machinery, airborne particles, hazardous materials, adverse weather, high places, and confined spaces.
