Job description

We are looking for a Production Assistant (Communications Coordinator) for a telecommunications client in Philadelphia, PA. This role is fully onsite and is open to candidates that have just graduated with relevant internship and educational experience in journalism, broadcast, or production.

This role will support the team throughout the content production lifecycle including but not limited to: fact checking scripts, editorial content, researching future segment topics & future guests, quality control, reviewing captions, titles, and metadata for grammatical accuracy, supporting script writing and providing general production & editorial support as needed.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong writing skills, including excellent grammar and proofreading skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• An interest in journalism, media, or broadcast

Nice-to-have skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in broadcast, journalism, production or related
• Fact-checking and research experience
• Relevant internship or corporate experience in a relevant role
• Familiarity with AP style
• Experience working in media, digital content, broadcast, or video production environments, basic understanding of post-production workflows.

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience, as well as the benefits package you select.
