Job summary

Open Mind Developments in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Production Assistant to support order fulfillment operations in a fast-paced, environmentally conscious warehouse.

You will handle shipping labeling, packing slips, inventory records, stock reconciliation, and efficient warehouse layout while upholding Pela Case's commitment to quality and sustainability.

This role requires strong organization, independence, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with shift hours Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating shipping labels, packing slips, and organizing documentation.
• Pick and process orders accurately and quickly following fulfillment standards.
• Monitor and address order exceptions and perform PO reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate PO receiving and shipping reconciliation.
• Coordinate and maintain an efficient warehouse layout to streamline operations.
• Assist with inventory counts, perform stock reconciliation, and assist in receiving inventory.
• Support the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including sweeping and stock placement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Promote Pela’s commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and safe practices.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive and organized Production Assistant to support order fulfillment operations. This role ensures all inbound and outbound shipments are completed in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner while maintaining accurate inventory records and effective stock management, and assists in other aspects of the warehouse. You will help drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, environmentally conscious workplace. In this position you will be proficient in shipping and warehousing practices, while being a self-starter who thrives in an environment of continuous improvement and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating shipping labels, packing slips, and organizing documentation.
