Job summary

KTLA is seeking a Production Assistant to support Emmy-winning Rose Parade coverage. This part-time seasonal role involves assisting the Production Coordinator and APOC with script books, camera cards, research, and clerical tasks on location in Pasadena.

Must have live TV or related experience, be highly organized, and proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, and OneDrive. Immediate availability and a pay of $20/hr+ depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in live television or related field is required.
• Strong administrative skills and PC proficiency essential.
• Knowledge of live show rundowns and scripts is a plus.
• Ability to multitask while meeting deadlines and staying organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communications; professional phone etiquette.

Production Assistant - Seasonal PT

KTLA is looking for a Production Assistant to work on our Emmy Award-winning live coverage of the Rose Parade. PA with a can-do attitude will work directly with Production Coordinator and APOC for all their needs, including script book assembly, camera cards, research and clerical, and any other related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Will assist Production Coordinator and APOC in all clerical tasks and duties.
• Will assemble float tour books, script books and camera cards.
• Will work on files in OneDrive, including rundown, production schedules, scripts, camera cards, etc.
• Perform clerical duties to support the show.
• Provide telephone coverage.
• Will work on the live event on location in Pasadena.
• Position is temporary December to January.

Requirements

• Must have experience in live television, scripted or related field
• Must be extremely proficient in administrative tasks and on a PC - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and OneDrive are a must.
• Knowledge of live show rundowns and scripts a plus.
• Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail and handle a lot on their plate all at once
• Superb organizational and time management skills
• Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints
• Talent for anticipating needs
• Excellent written and verbal communications; professional telephone etiquette AVAILABLE: Immediately

Compensation $20/hr.+ - commensurate with experience and skill level
