Job Description

KTVO is seeking a full-time News Production Assistant. Responsibilities include:

1. Operate Control Room equipment (Audio Console, Video/Graphics Playback, Video Switcher, etc.) for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscasts.
2. Editing News Video and Graphics.
3. Assisting News Department with on-location video captures, live shots, photography, etc.
4. Assisting Web Department with Social Media and other tasks.
5. Performing other duties as assigned.

Work Hours

General hours are 9 hours/day with varying arrival times. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Other hours as needed.

Qualifications

Experience is not necessary; education and/or internship in television or related field is preferred. Experience in News Production is a plus but training will be provided.
