Job summary

ProductionHUB is seeking a hands-on assistant to support video and photo shoots across Maine. You’ll prep and organize gear, help with basic lighting, camera, and audio setups, and ensure kits are production-ready.

Responsibilities include maintaining an organized gear inventory, coordinating rentals and returns, drafting call sheets and schedules, and assisting with production research and logistics. You’ll also help curate content for social media and keep project materials current,

Responsibilities

• Assist on video and photo shoots throughout Maine.
• Prep, organize, pack, and check production equipment before shoots.
• Help maintain an organized gear inventory and equipment storage system.
• Charge batteries, format and organize media, and ensure kits are production-ready.
• Assist with basic lighting, camera, audio, and production setups.
• Help with equipment rentals, pickups, and returns.
• Assist with media organization and file management after shoots.
• Help prepare call sheets, schedules, shot lists, releases, and other production documents.
• Assist with production research, location information, and logistics.
• Keep project information and client records organized and up to date.
• Help track upcoming shoots, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-ups.
• Occasionally communicate with clients, crew, vendors, and other production partners.
• Help organize Groundswell's photo and video content library.
• Identify strong behind-the-scenes moments and past work to share.
• Assist with planning and preparing social media content.
• Draft captions and organize assets for upcoming posts.
• Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video during productions when appropriate.
• Help keep the Groundswell website, portfolio, and project materials current.
• Help keep the studio and equipment areas organized.
• Maintain CRM and contact information.
• Assist with research, outreach, scheduling, and general administrative projects.
• Help develop simple systems that make recurring production and business tasks more efficient.
