Job summary

Amsive LLC is seeking an Assistant/Material Handler to support daily print and mail operations on our manufacturing floor in Bolingbrook, IL. This active, entry-level role moves materials, stages jobs, and keeps machines supplied as required.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety and quality, handling pallets, envelopes, and mail while adhering to schedules and process tickets.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role on a manufacturing floor requiring reliability and punctuality.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, carts, wrapping equipment safely.
• Reads and follows work tickets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and stage paper, envelopes, inserts, trays, and finished mail.
• Pallet jack and roll cart operation in a fast-paced production environment.
• Read and interpret work tickets and production schedule.
• Report issues to Supervisor.
• Continuously supply the correct materials to the appropriate machines.
• Return unused production materials to assigned locations.
• Transport mail trays and pallets between production, QA, and shipping areas and manage recycling/trash removal.

Pay

Starting at $16.00 per hour based on experience/ skills

What we are looking for:

The Assistant/Material Handler supports daily print and mail operations by staging jobs, moving materials and cleaning up production stations. This role is essential to maintaining workflow through our printing, inserting, finishing, and shipping departments. It is an entry level role that is very active on our manufacturing floor.

What you will be doing:

• Load, unload, and stage paper, envelopes, inserts, trays, and finished mail


• Pallet jack and roll cart operation in a fast-paced production environment


• Read and interpret work tickets and production schedule


• Report issues to Supervisor


• Continuously supply the correct materials to the appropriate machines


• Return unused production materials to assigned locations

Who you are:

• Experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse setting preferred


• Have employment history of reliable attendance and punctuality


• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting with strong quality standards


• Work experience requiring staging production materials and safely moving large pallets


• Ability to operate equipment safely (pallet jacks, carts, wrapping equipment, etc.)


• English fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) required bilingual Spanish preferred


• Ability to read and follow job tickets, and written or verbal instructions


• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)


• Basic computer experience

Work Environment

Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching


• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds


• Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment

Security Clearance

Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
