Job summary

Hearst Communications, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Broadcast Production Assistant to join the production crew. This role involves operating cameras, teleprompter, audio-board, graphics and video equipment for live broadcasts and post-production.

You will report to the News Production Manager and work with the production team to ensure a successful broadcast. Responsibilities include operating cameras and studio floor directing, prop handling, lighting, script prep, and editing

Qualifications

• Editing experience is necessary
• Videography experience helpful
• Working knowledge of television newscast equipment and software

KOAT, the ABC affiliate in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has an opening for a Broadcast Production Assistant. We are looking for a team player who understands the flexible schedule that the broadcast industry requires to join our production crew. You will be responsible for operating cameras, teleprompter, audio-board, graphics and video equipment related to live broadcasts and post-production. You will work with our production team to guarantee a successful broadcast is produced. You will report to the News Production Manager.

Responsibilities
