Job summary

Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture (JV) seeks a Production Assembly Technician for on-site work in Camden, AR. The role involves final assembly of energetic sections for large missiles, strict safety, and adherence to documented processes.

Travel is limited, with relocation assistance available for Camden, Arkansas. The candidate should be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, with experience in assembly and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or related field.
• Experience to operate forklift, walker stacker, pallet jack, and other equipment normally associated with loading and unloading trucks.
• Work outside to load and unload materials year-round.
• Ability to obtain two years' experience with a class A CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• Physical warehousing and inventory control experience.
• DoD SECRET or higher security clearance.
• Hazmat Certification with Hazmat Endorsement.
• Hazmat Waste Generator.
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and checkout of air defense weapon systems.
• Handle warheads, pyrotechnic devices, and complete air defense weapons systems.
• Work with computer systems and applications.
• Perform hardware movement in factory.
• Follow all documented processes and procedures involving assembly and focus on proper material handling is always adhered to.
• Willing to work with explosive items.
• Ability to operate pneumatic and manual tools.
• Capable of using manual torque tools.
• Follow detailed work instructions and detailed processes to ensure hardware conformance.
• Support Lean Manufacturing in all processes and areas of responsibility.
• Participates in meetings to acquire knowledge necessary to assist in continuance of production operations.
• Provide work assignments and instruction to team member operators as needed.
• Provide leadership to other team members during completion of assigned tasks.

The selected candidate will be responsible to perform final assembly of energetic sections building large scale missiles. Applicant must be mechanically inclined, demonstrate attention to detail and safety, and provide strategic and critical products to our war fighters. This position is an onsite role.

• The above includes but is not limited to making sure that all documented processes and procedures involving assembly and a focus on proper material handling are adhered to.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. are eligible for a security clearance.

Work Location: Camden, Arkansas (relocation support available)
