Job summary

Paul Mueller Company is seeking a Production Employee for our Springfield, MO facility. Entry-level knowledge of routine manufacturing operations is required as you assist craftsmen, fabricators and other production workers.

The role covers operating equipment, performing basic welding prep, painting, and packing/shipping duties, with opportunities to learn a wide range of fabrication tasks in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level knowledge of ordinary manufacturing operations.
• Able to read and interpret basic blueprints and use measurement tools.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Craftsmen, Fabricators and other Production Workers as required.
• Operates equipment (rolls, shears, brakes, forming equipment) as instructed.
• Perform routine painting where finish or specifications are not critical.
• Prepare parts and equipment for shipment by packing, boxing, crating and loading.
• Build, assemble, test and repair components and subassemblies.
• Tack and flat welds (non-ASME).
• Perform calibration of vessels.
• Grind, deburr, bevel and prepare edges or surfaces.
