Job description

Basic Job Function

Build, fabricate, and assemble window and door components; prep, test, clean, and wrap all items to create a complete unit ready for shipment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work well with others and communicate effectively.
• Operate at a fast pace and remain flexible across operations.
• Maintain excellent attendance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform all quality checks for each operation.
• Work within the facility, including scheduled shifts and overtime as required.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment and follow safety rules set by federal, state, local, and company regulations.
• Understand and execute all assembly operations from material prep to wrapping.

Other Duties

• Supervisory: Train employees to build, alter, repair, and assemble components meeting quality expectations.
• Ensure all employees receive required safety training per federal, state, local, and company regulations.

Qualifications

• Understand component functions and installation.
• Read tickets, orders, and tape measures.
• Basic math, knowledge of different dies and pneumatic and hand tools.
• Operate box knife, sealant guns, and other equipment safely.

Physical Demands

Work long hours, stand on concrete floors, lift 50–70 pounds, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, reach over head, climb, and maintain a fast‑pace work rhythm.

Working Conditions

Extreme heat during summer months, exposure to dirt, metal chips, chemicals, low lighting, noise, sharp objects, occasional smoke and fumes.
