Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a Minnesota-based manufacturer in their search to fill a Production Assembler near Edina, MN. As an Assembler you will be assembling components according to specifications within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assembling and packaging, maintaining 5S standards, and ensuring quality with proper documentation. Weekend shift Friday to Monday (6:00 AM-6:30 PM) with benefits and direct deposit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Stand for 10 hr shifts.
• Use basic math skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Read and comprehend written directions.
• Learn multiple tasks/processes.
• Manipulate parts of all sizes.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and packages product.
• Follow 5S and standardization guidelines.
• Maintain acceptable work pace and minimize downtime.
• Keep work area clean and organized; support 5S standards.
• Understand customer quality requirements.
• Meet PTI quality standards.
• Prevent quality concerns with proper documentation.
• Opportunities to work in various areas of production.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
